Caroline and Josh Smith will be serving in Johannesburg, South Africa, ministering to people affected by HIV/AIDS. They will work with the Refilwe Community Project, a home for approximately 50 children and program that seeks to break the cycle of poverty in nearby communities.

 

Josh will work to expand Refilwe partnerships, both locally and internationally. He also plans to develop a program to assist local pastor in engaging their congregations to become transformational agents in reducing the stigmas associated with HIV/AIDS.  

Caroline will counsel children at Refilwe and will help develop partnerships, connecting churches in the United States to ministry in South Africa.
