August 3-6, 2014
Camp Pinnacle, Clayton, Ga.
Selah Vie is an end of summer retreat for college and graduate students, and other young adults. Join the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship to pause and reflect on as you move away from summer experiences and into the fall semester of school or work. We will join together in worship, workshops, group reflection and parties to close out the summer.
This year's speaker is Jason Edwards.
Jason is the Senior Pastor of Second Baptist Church in Liberty, Mo. He is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University (BA, Religion and English), Baylor University (M.Div) and Fuller Seminary (D.Min). A native of Texas, he is husband to Christy and father to Jackson, Luke, and a daughter due in January 2014. Jason and Christy served as GSC field personnel in France and then Thailand from 2005 - 2007.
Music at Selah Vie will be led by Ryan Richardson.
Ryan G. Richardson has been leading worship and teaching about the ministry of music for more than 20 years. He is a 1997 graduate of Mississippi State University, received his M.Div. in 2004 from Truett Theological Seminary and is currently writing his doctoral dissertation at Azusa Pacific University. As an associate chaplain and director of worship and chapel, Ryan has been working to enhance the life of worship and prayer on the campus of Baylor University since 2001. He lives in Waco, Texas with his wife, Kristen (also a chaplain at Baylor) and his three sons, Syler, Alden and Mayer.

Selah Vie Devotions:
CBF will provide devotions each week during your summer experience. Our hope is that you will take time throughout your week to "pause life," reflecting on where you have been and how you will continue to grow throughout the summer. Each devotion is accompanied by a spiritual discipline which you can practice during the week to refresh yourself and gain new life each day.
Week 1: Where will I see God?
Week 2: Where is hope?
Week 3: What takes life? What give life?
Week 4: Where will I experience conflict?
Week 5: Where is my energy?
Week 6: Where will I succeed?
