CBF 2010-11 Spiritual Formation Retreats

Convener’s Retreat
Each convener is asked to bring two lay leaders!
October 29-31, 2010
Ignatius Retreat House, Atlanta, GA

This retreat brings clergy and lay leaders together into intentional Christian community.   Designed with peer learning group conveners and lay leaders in mind, retreat participants will explore our common call to participate in God’s ministry of reconciliation and practices that encourage one another in this good work. Participants will take away:

• a deeper relationship with lay leaders,
• an introduction to and familiarity with coaching related practices,
• leaving refreshed with a new perspective for the journey

Retreat leadership includes:

• Melissa Clodfelter, Center for Congregational Health
• Rick Bennett, CBF Congregational Life
• Steve Graham, CBF Leadership Development

The Retreat will begin with lunch on Friday, October 29, and conclude with lunch on Sunday, October 31. The cost for each participant is $170.00 and includes meals and lodging. Each participant signing up by September 25, 2010, will receive a scholarship to cover ½ of this cost subsidized by the CBF Initiative for Ministerial Excellence.
