The son of a Baptist pastor, Gabe Orea grew up ministering among some of the most neglected people in Mexico. Now he serves in China, as pastor of the Xiamen International Christian Fellowship in Xiamen, Fujian.

Working with expatriates in Xiamen, Orea seeks to nurture, equip, shepherd and encourage those who are away from home. "To serve the ones serving in China is to serve China."

Orea is a computer engineer and a graduate of CBF partner Truett Theological Seminary in Waco, Texas, where he served as a volunteer pastor of a Hispanic church. Orea and his wife, Victoria, have two children.
