Frank & Karen Morrow
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Hometown: Fort Worth
Commissioned: 1996
Frank and Karen Morrow began ministering as CBF field personnel strategy coordinators in Germany, where large numbers of Middle Eastern refugees had come seeking asylum. The Morrows helped these refugees in whatever way they could, all the while learning their language and more about this people group that was once mighty but were now repressed, persecuted and nearly forgotten. Their land had been stolen and their culture outlawed.
After 10 years of ministry in Germany, the Morrows returned to the United States, where they base their work out of Fort Worth, Texas. Karen works with refugees who have been forced to flee their home countries due to violence and persecution. Hoping for a better life in a new country, they often find themselves overwhelmed and alone. The Morrows, and the partner churches they resource, are the welcoming presence of Christ to refugees.
Frank is working with CBF partner churches to establish a lay advocacy network, to train and provide resources for the advocates as well helping them to engage in CBF ministries through prayer, financial support and personal involvement.
