September ministry focus:
Myricks meet medical needs in Kenya

In Nairobi, Kenya, thousands of Somali refugees live illegally, having fled there to escape nearly two decades of war in Somalia. Their needs are complex. Without legal standing in the country, they cannot work legally, do not have legal rights to education or health care and could be deported at any time.

CBF field personnel and medical professionals Tim and Lori Myrick provide medical care to Somali refugees at a local clinic and hospital. They treat patients with general aches and pains to those needing expert surgical care for neglected gunshot wounds and fractures. As they follow their calling, the Myricks are the healing presence of Christ to Somali refugees.
