The Fellowship's resources for churches

The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship's mission is serving Christians and churches as they discover and fulfill their God-given mission.

Resources for churches include:

  • Connect with the Fellowship's Initiative for Ministerial Excellence. This Lilly Endowment-funded initiative features resources for ministers, plus the opportunity for churches to serve as teaching congregations for new ministers.
  • Find a minister through CBF's Reference and Referral program, which helps connect your church with ministers seeking ministerial positions.
  • Connect with the CBF Foundation, which offers ways for your church to invest in life-changing ministries.
  • Stay informed about CBF ministries. Subscribe to regular CBF publications including the free Fellowship! magazine and the ChurchWorks e-newsletter, which is full of ministry ideas and education opportunities.
  • Access resources for individuals and churches on a variety of relevant topics.
  • Need missions education resources? CBF's missional formation resources do more than educate about mission. These resources promote missional engagement for the entire congregation.
  • Interested in a summer college intern? The Fellowship has a program that will place college students interested in church ministry in congregations for 10-week internships. Learn more
  • Need benefits?  Check out the resources and services offered by the Fellowship's Church Benefits Board. CBB offers competitive benefits packages to church and ministry staff.
  • Connect with missions. There are opportunities for churches and individuals to engage with CBF global ministries. Learn more
  • Engaging with CBF missions through promotion of the Offering for Global Missions. Your church can be one of hundreds that collect an offering for this primary funding mechanism of CBF global ministries. Learn more
  • Invite a CBF speaker to your church through the Fellowship's face2face speakers bureau. Face2face links the local church with CBF staff and field personnel through dialogue and story-telling.
  • Need more information or resources about CBF?  Check out the CBF Store, where you can order free resources about the Fellowship. There are also a number of online resources. Review our identity, mission, vision, core values and strategic initiatives at our Who We Are page and learn more about the Fellowship from the Frequently Asked Questions, and the Truth About CBF.
  • Encourage church members to attend the Fellowship's annual General Assembly, which is a vital source for churches seeking new resources, inspiration, connection with ministries and missions, and more. The event is held in a different city each year.
  • Consider getting involved with your local state/regional CBF organization
