Endorsement by CBF
If you are a member of a Baptist Church and are preparing to serve as (or are already serving as) a chaplain or pastoral counselor, you might be interested in seeking endorsement from CBF.
A growing number of ministers in specialized settings are applying for CBF's endorsement. These include military and hospital chaplains, therapists and others. In addition to endorsing chaplains to hospital, military service, and other employers, CBF provides endorsements for membership in various professional organizations, such as the Association of Professional Chaplains, American Association of Pastoral Counselors and the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education.
For an application and other information send your complete mailing address with phone number to gpickle@thefellowship.info. CBF's Council on Endorsement, in operation since January 1998, considers applications four times per year.
