ways Fellowship Baptists are addressing poverty. Share your ideas, discuss challenges and hear lessons learned. Join the conversation and planning as we explore ways of working more effectively to end poverty.

The event is free, although breakfast will not be served. Make sure you come having already eaten or with something to eat. At the event, those who wish to support poverty-focused work around the world will have the opportunity to give through the CBF Offering for Global Missions.

Join in for the Long Haul: Explore the Spirituality needed for a life in sevice with the Poor (Thursday, 9-10:10 a.m.) with presenters:

Addressing Global Poverty - from Missions to Movement (Friday 1:30-2:40 p.m.) Fellowship Baptists already support the Millennium Development Goals through missions and giving.  This workshop will extend mission mindedness by demonstrating practical ways congregations can utilize their God-given gift of citizenship to help meet these goals.

Addressing Poverty with Together for Hope (Friday 1:30-2:40 p.m.) Royal Lane Baptist Church in Texas shares about thier experience in all five regions focused on by Together for Hope, CBF's rural poverty initiative.

The Great Cloud of Witnesses: Join in working toward change by supporting work around the world through the MDGs (Friday, 3:15-4:25 p.m.) with presenters:

Connecting with Mexico and Border Ministries Opportunities (Friday, 3:15-4:25 p.m.) Come learn about ministry opportunities for short-term mission groups in marginalized communities along the United States/Mexico border
