Learn about the Offering at General Assembly

At CBF's annual General Assembly June 19-20 in Memphis, Tenn., there are many opportunities to learn more about the CBF Offering for Global Missions and the CBF field personnel supported by the Offering.

• Global Missions field personnel commissioning service on Wed., June 18, at 7:30 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Memphis. Come support new field personnel as they begin ministry among some of the most neglected people in the world.
• "Embrace the World - Live!" ministry workshop
  The CBF Offering for Global Missions story comes alive when field personnel represented in the focal stories explain in person how lives are changed because you give. Bring your camera, pen and paper and take your own photographs and take down your own stories for promoting the CBF Offering at your church.

Update on the Offering goal
Since Oct. 1, 2007, $3,538,998.49 has been contributed toward this year's $6.15 million goal. This accounts for nearly 58 percent of the Offering goal. Encourage your church members to give generously so field personnel can continue sharing Christ's love among the most neglected people in the world.
