The Offering at work - How your gifts make a difference
 Every summer CBF field personnel Ben and Leonora Newell host All Church Challenge, a missions blitz that involves hundreds of local community members and Fellowship Baptists in efforts to better the community of Helena-West Helena, Ark., which is one of the poorest areas in the United States. This year, three youth from Park Meadows Baptist Church in Waxahachie, Texas, came to Helena and experienced transformation in their own lives.
On a Thursday morning, these youth were baptized in the Helena community pool, where many of them had spent all week teaching local children and adults how to swim. As one of the youth put it: “This is the place where [I feel] like [I am] serving God. [I feel] close to God in this place.”
Ministries supported by the CBF Offering for Global Missions not only change lives among some of the most neglected people in the world - they can also change us as we give to and engage in these ministries.
Give online to the CBF Offering and support ministry and field personnel around the world. Ask others to join you. Forward this e-newsletter to friends and family. Talk about the CBF Offering in your Sunday school, small group, or Wednesday night church service. Consider collecting a special offering on a Sunday morning.

The Fellowship has launched an online community where you can learn more about specific areas of missions and get involved. Visit today. Once you join Ning, be sure to explore the "Networks" and "Communities" tabs. Networks are locations where ministry is happening. Communities are areas of ministry - like education, church starting and more.
