ATLANTA – December 1 is World AIDS Day, when the world will remember the millions of people infected and affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Joyce Williams of Texas will remember her daughter and grandsons who died from AIDS. Ted Lewis of Virginia will remember Ben and how his death moved Lewis into advocacy for those living with HIV/AIDS. Taisha Rose of New York City will remember her friends Oscar and Roger and what they taught her about faith.
Their reflections and stories are featured in the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship’s Web-based World AIDS Day reflection resource for churches and individuals. The resource includes:

"On World AIDS Day, all individuals and churches have a wonderful opportunity to show their care and concern to our world citizens by praying, remembering all those that have been infected or affected by this horrible pandemic. These resources are provided by those working in the struggle to assist in your participation and planning for World AIDS Day."
CBF is a fellowship of Baptist Christians and churches who share a passion for the Great Commission and a commitment to Baptist principles of faith and practice. The Fellowship’s mission is to serve Christians and churches as they discover and fulfill their God-given mission.
