The Roses serves at Operación San Andrés, a holistic ministry center in the Collique area of Lima, Peru. The couple ministers to families through educational and spiritual programs. They also facilitate partnerships between the Collique community and churches in the United States. In addition, they assist mission teams who travel to Lima. Operación San Andrés is a mission endeavor of South Main Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.

 

“Serving in Collique, Lima, Peru has been a blessed experience,” said the Roses. “God has already done some amazing things since our arrival in February in many areas of our ministry. We are serving loving, but neglected peoples in this community. It is amazing to see the joy of Christ in people who live everyday in serious and challenging situations. Working with the children and mothers has been very joyful, especially when you see changes in life and learning. We cannot wait to see what God does next! Please join us in prayer for the families of our program, for the lost of Collique and that the Lord might give us an opportunity to share Jesus Christ with them.”
