Levesque taught English at Guangxi University in Nanning, China for two years and continues to teach English at the registered Chinese church as a volunteer. She develops relationships with students, helping them learn English, and introduce introducing them to aspects of American culture. She also assists with the children’s ministry at the registered church.

“Pray that God will use me to share not just English and American culture to Chinese students, but also share in their lives and make a difference to them,” Levesque said. “Baptists can pray for my health, travel safety, accommodations and lesson preparation. They can pray that I will be able to encourage Chinese Christians and help them to effectively lead the church in China.”
