Janee Angel
Location: Belgium
Commissioned: 2004
Angel lives in Antwerp, Belgium, where she serves in an immigrant and refugee neighborhood. Although she lives in Europe, 90 percent of the people she works with are Arabic speakers from North Africa and the Middle East. The people she works with come from both Muslim and Catholic/Orthodox backgrounds.
Having worked for years in Brussels, Angel recently moved to Antwerp with her husband Hary and baby daughter Phoebe to begin establishing an Arabic church in the city. Hary is originally from Syria and has an evangelist heart. Hary’s ability to speak fluent Arabic opens many doors for ministry among North Africans and Middle Easterners. Together they are building relationships, evangelizing, leading Bible studies, doing one-on-one discipleship, networking with existing churches, missionaries, and Arabic-speaking Christians.
