Leadership Development Ministries
God calls people – first to Christ and then to be Christ’s presence in the world. God calls some to vocational ministry – as ministers, missionaries, chaplains, and in other ministry settings. Your Fellowship helps discover, develop, and nurture these ministry leaders to live their call, fulfill their mission, and impact the world.
Leadership Scholars
Invest in the future
Right now more than 2,000 students are preparing for ministry in one of the Fellowship’s partner theological schools. They have heard and responded to God’s call and now seek the training that will enable them to fulfill their God-given mission. Each year the Fellowship supports 75 of these students as CBF Leadership Scholars. Be part of empowering these gifted men and women as they prepare to serve in ministry settings in the U.S. and around the world.
$5,000.00 provides a scholarship for one student for a year.
Church internships for college students
Help a young Baptist explore God’s call
Some college students do more than go to church. They want to serve in one. And through the Fellowship’s collegiate congregational internship program, they have that opportunity. Your gift makes 10-week summer church internships possible, allowing young Baptists to experience church ministry firsthand and discern if God is calling them to be the future pastors, teachers, and leaders of churches.
$5,000.00 funds a summer internship experience for a college student.
Current, CBF’s young leader’s network
Invest in young leaders
One way the Fellowship invests in young Baptists is through Current, its network for young ministers and leaders under 40 years old. Events such as the CBF General Assembly and the annual ChurchWorks Conference provide young leaders with an opportunity to connect with each other and the larger Fellowship movement.
$200.00 sends one young leader to an event.
