Banquet in Celebration of Co-Missioning
Join us Wednesday evening for a Celebration of Co-Missioning! Begin your General Assembly by sharing a family meal and fellowship around the tables with your CBF community. After dinner we will hear inspiring stories of how our field personnel and fellowship congregations are co-missioning around the world – being the presence of Christ in tangible, creative, sustainable ways. Hear what is happening in churches recently started and in the ministries of our chaplains. The highlight of the evening will come as we join together in the blessing of newly endorsed chaplains and commissioning of new church planters and new Global Missions field personnel.

Worship and Business Sessions
“General Assembly Worship” may sound like an oxymoron. When two thousand people gather from hundreds of different churches for an annual meeting some of the purposes seem less than sacred—networking, explaining, and deciding. We are gathering to do important business, but we are also coming to give ourselves to God together. Our focus during this meeting will be giving thanks for what God is doing through our churches and imagining what more God will do when we recognize that it is God’s church we are celebrating.
