Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Offering
for Religious Liberty and Human Rights
One-third of each year’s offering goes to the Baptist World Alliance for its continuing efforts to fight for religious liberty. Two-thirds is administered by the Fellowship to on-going religious liberty initiatives. In this, the fifth year of the Offering, the Fellowship's portion will be distributed to the European Baptist Federation and CBF field personnel Lita and Rick Sample. The offering will be collected during the Thursday and Friday evening General Sessions.

How to give:
About this year's receipents:
The
European Baptist Federation consists of 51 member Unions in almost every country of Europe and Central Asia and six members in the Middle East. The funds from the Fellowship’s offering will allow the EBF the capacity to travel to countries where religious freedom is an issue, conduct thorough investigations in order to make effective responses, and assist local Unions and their churches to effectively campaign for religious freedom in their given situation.
CBF field personnel
Lita and Rick Sample work with female indigenous
church planters in a predominately Muslim country in the Middle East. Currently 135 women have been trained as church planters. The Carter Offering will provide financial support for some of these women. Each recipient of the funds has already planted at least three churches and is actively leading them.
